Smart Financial Planning for the Life You're Building

FOCUSED

I help couples and families in their 30s, 40s & 50s take control of their finances with clarity and confidence.

I look at all aspects to understand your full financial picture. When you need support beyond money, my network of professionals – attorneys, CPAs, mortgage brokers, real estate brokers, and even doulas, help you navigate life’s big moments!

KNOWLEDGEABLE

I’m a fee-only CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professional and a fiduciary, which means I act in your best interest—no commissions, no product sales, no hidden fees. Just expert guidance.

I bring 15 years of experience in the financial services industry, including at JPMorgan Chase & Co. Since 2017, I’ve worked directly with clients, gaining almost a decade of hands-on experience.

I’ve also navigated big financial decisions myself while balancing career shifts and family life, so I understand what it’s like to juggle today’s needs with tomorrow’s goals. My job is to help you make confident choices that align with your life.

HOLISTIC

A strong financial plan is about more than numbers. It should work for your whole life.

I take a comprehensive approach, covering taxes, insurance, and estate planning – going beyond cash flow and investments. More importantly, I help you clarify what matters most and build a plan to get you there.

Guidance for Every Stage of Life

3 ways I can help you build a confident financial future:

Take the overwhelm out of college planning. I’ll help you, your partner, and your student align on options, costs, and a clear financial plan. With tailored guidance for 9th-11th graders, we’ll make sure you’re prepared – so your child can focus on their future, not the price tag.

Understand your finances and walk away with your clear roadmap. This plan covers budgeting, home-buying, benefits, career moves, insurance, tax strategy, college savings, investments, and retirement. You’ll receive tailored recommendations, action steps, and referrals if
needed.

Your plan is just the beginning. As life evolves, we’ll review and adjust to keep you on track. I’ll help you implement action steps, stay accountable, and navigate any questions along the way.

I also offer optional investment management.

Meet Jessica Kirwin, CFP®, CCFC, MBA

In my mid-20s, I was making big financial decisions – rolling over a 401(k) after leaving a corporate job, deferring student loans before joining the Peace Corps, and figuring out how to invest while living abroad. Each challenge pushed me to learn more, and I realized I genuinely enjoyed making sense of money. But as my husband and I navigated major milestones – marriage, home buying, career shifts – we had a hard time finding financial advice that was clear, practical, and truly in our best interest.

That’s when I knew: financial planning shouldn’t feel like guesswork. I became a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® practitioner to help professionals in their 30s, 40s, and 50s gain clarity and confidence in their financial decisions. In 2021, I founded Kirwin Financial because there simply weren’t enough fee-only planners serving people who are growing their families, careers, and wealth.

Today, I help couples align their money with their life goals – whether it’s buying a home, preparing for a new baby, or planning for financial independence. I provide unbiased, fee-only financial planning, meaning I work in your best interest – no commissions, no product sales, just expert guidance tailored to your life.
